Work was uneventful. I was doing bits and pieces of documentation, but I can't do much until the software improves. My ride came at 16:30, which was early. I specified 17:00. The car shop also told me that someone would call me. Someone in charge of the shuttle service was also supposed to call, but I got nothing.

Anyway, I got outside and there was the driver of the courtesy car and another passenger. I went to tug on the side door and it wouldn't work. It took me four or five tries before it eventually opened. The driver then tells me that I should have "let the door glide on its own". I really shouldn't have to tug on the door with all of my might to have it "glide", right?

The next task was trying to close it. The driver had the nerve to tell me to pull it hard. With an annoyed tone in my voice, I shot back, "I am." Heck, get the damn door fixed instead of blaming it on the passenger. I'm not exactly a frail chick who's worried about my nails breaking.

Well, the driver and the passenger in the front chatted for over half an hour about Mexico. No offence, but it was a boring conversation. We went to pick up another passenger. The guy tugged at the door that I had tried and he couldn't get it open. I proved my point.

I fetched my Altima and it steers a lot better. I'm a happy camper. I went out with a friend for dinner at Earl's. I had a hamburger with sauteed mushrooms and Caesar salad. I had a chocolate mousse torte for dessert and General Li's spicy chicken as a starter. (I have no idea who General Li is, but it was yummy.)

I worked on the diary a bit this evening. I got digital cable, so I spent most of the evening previewing the channels that I now have and watching NHL games. My two favourite teams (Leafs and Wild) won. I'm a happy camper. I'm leading my hockey pool by 28 points so far.

Well, it's off to bed now. Thank goodness I have one more day of work this week to go.
