I slept in a bit. My dad made me eggs for breakfast. I then cleaned up a bit before heading out at around noonish to have lunch with iPod boy (DJ) Well, I called him and he wasn't at his desk. I had a feeling that he was in a number of meetings. So, I just left him a message. I then drove over to Best Buy to find a card reader. I must have missed DJ's call by about a minute. I called him at his desk. He said that was fast. I apologized for missing his call. He asked me where I was. I told him. He said he had left a voice message. I asked what it was. He wanted to reschedule lunch. I said that was fine. He said that he had a health and safety meeting. I was cheerfully good about the whole thing and asked if Thursday would be okay with him. It was. I told him to take care and left him to attend another meeting. Sadly, Best Buy did not have what I was looking for. I drove to TigerDirect instead. A helpful guy by the hard drive counter pointed to where I'd find the memory card reader. I was thrilled! I browsed around the store before eventually paying for my purchase. I then went to a drive-thru. There was this woman across from me in her car, talking on her cellphone. Well, she didn't realize that it was my turn to make my left. She just went for it. She had no idea that she was in the wrong and started cursing at me. She flipped me the bird. I retaliated by flipping her the bird. I was pleased that I got in front of her in the drive-thru to place my order. Idiot. So, I ate and drove over to the closest haircutting store by my home. Sadly, it had closed down. Instead, I drove over to where my favourite Chinese supermarket-food court was and got my hair cut there. The hairdresser was friendly and gave me a bob cut -- shorter at the back and longer strands of hair on the sides. She also spruced up my bangs. Naturally, I bought some shampoo there that is supposed to make my hair cleaner and fuller. I came home. My mom was happy with my haircut. I went to shower and then headed out to meet the president's son (PS) at Scarborough Town Centre. He called me when I was waiting for the left-turn signal on Brimley, at Progress. I then picked him up. He liked my new haircut. We proceeded to talk and drive. The parking lot where I normally park to hit the Eaton Centre and Massey Hall had problems with its ticket machines. A number of us were trying to figure it out. One girl's credit card got chewed up by the rotten machine. About fifteen minutes later, the machines worked again. Weird. PS and I had dinner at the Pickel Barrel. We started off with alcoholic drinks (mai tai for him, and a long island iced tea for me) and split the chicken quesadillas, which were yummy. For the main course, I had the soy salmon with edamame salsa. PS had the steak sandwich. He didn't like the meat. He could barely cut through his steak. We both shared a banana split. I asked that the chocolate sauce be served off to the side. Once we were done having dinner and showing PS how to use his digital camera, we headed over to the Eaton Centre. We visited Old Navy and H&M. We then went to Urban Outfitters. I got some cool cubicle sticky notes. A set of them is perfect for the sales coordinator. We walked across the street to Massey Hall. We had balcony seats to see Kelly Clarkson. PS wanted me to accompany him, so I did. We saw the merchandise. It didn't entice me. PS didn't buy a thing. I wasn't too thrilled with who I was sitting around. The woman in front of me kept banging her chair into my knees. She then asked me to push my chair back so that she could push hers back, too. Seriously, you don't keep your natural spine's s-shape when you push your back against the seat at a 90-degree angle. I was not impressed, not to mention that she kept on chatting with her friend during the entire opening act. That made it difficult to snap pictures. An older woman sat next to me. She was constantly banging into me, looking in front and behind me, and digging through her backpack every few seconds. I had had it. I suppose someone must have heard me get all steamed up, particularly with PS trying to take pictures and kept banging his elbow on me. The older woman moved two seats down from me. The idiots decided to sit in the first row. Too bad the woman next to where these idiots were originally seated complained to the usher. So, they sat back in front of us. As for PS, he actually lost his camera case during the opening act. I told him to just put his camera case away. He didn't listen. I had to pull my flashlight during the break between acts and found it. Here's the review from Canoe.ca: TORONTO - Miss Independent -- that would be 25-year-old Texas pop-rock-gospel belter Kelly Clarkson -- came to Toronto's Massey Hall last night and blew the roof off the joint. Despite trying to get a shot of Jon McLaughlin, I was blown away by him. He's a terrific musician, pounding away at the keyboards during his entire set. He has a soothing, smooth voice. I need to get his CD, Indiana. He's going to do well in his career. He's cute, too. It was my first Kelly Clarkson concert. I had a good time. She has an incredible stage presence. She walks around in bare feet and actually stubbed her toes when she got too close to her microphone stand. Songs that stood out? "Sober" was one of my favourites. Her delivery was incredibly poignant. "Since u been gone" was a terrific end to her show. "One minute" was a nice start to the show. I had a fun time. I think PS loved the show a lot more. The concert ended at around 22:30, which seemed mighty early for me. We then walked to my car and I drove him home. I thanked him for paying for parking and having a fun night out. I then drove home.
