<<The weekend is here!>>

Saturday

I've been employed for two months now. I have made it this far. So far, so good.

This morning, I slept in till 09:45. I had a leisurely breakfast and got on with my day. I did two loads of laundry and folded articles from those loads and a previous one that my dad had kicked of last night.

I had lamb for lunch. It was a Greek meal that my dad had purchased at the local food court.

This afternoon, I watched the gold match between Canada and Sweden on TSN. Canada led for most of the game before Sweden came back to tie it 2-2. It was disappointing, particularly when the tying goal came with thirty-eight seconds left in the last period. Overtime ensued. Thankfully, Canada won its fourth consecutive World Junior Championship. I was relieved.

I went to exercise for about 1.5 hours. I've got about four more hours of recorded shows to watch.

I got two of my four textbooks in the mail. I also got my cruise information. Woo hoo!

For dinner, my mom and I made turkey spring rolls. They were yummy.

So, I finally decided to figure out how torrents work tonight. It was pretty simple, considering that I had a crash course on this from my former manager at my last job. I've been downloaded a few CDs. I have yet to listen to them.

Tonight, the Leafs lost 2-3 against Philadelphia. I'm currently watching the Oilers-Rangers game. Oilers are up by a goal. Garon, the goaltender, is doing so well.

I'm currently playing Scrabulous on Facebook with my former colleague from Winnipeg. I got a 94-point word: equinely. Who knew? For the longest time, I was trying to figure out how to stick queenly on the board. I suppose that taking a break from doing this helped me out.

Sunday

I woke up just before 10:00 to a not-so-pleasant dream. I dreamt I was on the GO train with cubicle guy. This scenario is already bizarre, for cubicle guy and I take different trains from work home. We also leave at different times. Anyway, the train was being hijacked by armed men. They told us to leave. I was visibly shaken. We got off and cubicle guy had no clue where we were. Oddly, I looked around and said that I could probably figure it out. I eventually did. We were in Scarborough, at around Kennedy and Ellesmere. I then woke up.

My dad had asked the sales guy at La-z-boy (I pronounce it lai-zed-boy, being a loyal Canadian) to deliver a sofa he had purchased during the Boxing day/week/month sale. I found it odd that delivery would be scheduled first thing on a Sunday morning. Anyway, my dad called the store at 11:00 and was advised that the sofa was not in stock.

I had macaroni, beef, and some leafy greens in broth for lunch. I then decided to get some ice cream and pick up some grocery items this afternoon. I also had to figure out what was going on with my car.

Yep, that annoying coolant low light is back again. The mechanic last month said that there is perhaps an air pocket causing the coolant level in my car to dip. It's on monitor. I say the problem is still there. I drove it all the way to Loblaws.

I did my shopping, put the groceries away in my car, including candy cane tea (save $2.29 on each box) and two mini watermelons), and had to use the washrooms there. I went upstairs for the first time. There's a fitness club to the left, a cafe, a kitchen for cooking demonstrations, and the washrooms. Thank goodness! I thought my bladder was going to explode. It didn't help that I had several slices of watermelon before I had left the house.

So, I checked out my car in the parking lot. I was thinking about this last night. My car probably sucked the full tank of coolant from yesterday and still needed more. Sure enough, the tank was pretty low. It's a good thing I had purchased a bottle of antifreeze on Friday night. I put more in and then topped off my windshield fluid. I looked at the coolant level again and it had gone down again. I filled it up more and looked at it five minutes later. The coolant level hadn't changed. Cool! Oops, no pun intended there.

I drove my car over to Sobeys. Sure enough, the coolant light went away. I also got heat coming out of the vents again. I was relieved.

At Sobeys, I bought some ice cream and some cookies. I then drove home.

Tonight, I played Boggle on Facebook, registered my Starbucks card online, put away all the laundry I had hanging up in the basement, exercised, and am getting ready to turn in. Weekends are far too short.
